Inspector

Inspect job definitions, runs, schedules, and services locally.

Use the Inspector’s Jobs area to find runs, inspect progress, and request supported controls.

  • Definitions: task/job IDs, versions, schema hashes, bindings, and limits.
  • Runs: status, attempts, progress, output metadata, errors, and controls.
  • Schedules: registered definitions, pause state, next occurrence, and ownership.
  • Services: worker generations, provider identity, readiness, and rollout state.

Run lists are bounded: 25 by default and 100 maximum. Filters should be scoped to a service, job, tenant, or time range before loading history.

Controls are asynchronous. A cancel, retry, or schedule write returns an operation ID; keep the operation visible until the Inspector observes the resulting state. The Inspector reports provider capability errors rather than presenting an unsupported control as successful.

Protect the Inspector endpoint. It is an operator surface, not a replacement for application authorization.

The run detail keeps the accepted runId, task version, service generation, result availability, progress, and native diagnostics separate. A disconnected Inspector view never cancels accepted work.
